Man Smashes Other Man In Head With Glass At Melville Restaurant
The two were having an argument on the dance floor of a restaurant when tensions flared, police say.

MELVILLE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say assaulted another man at a restaurant in Melville last month.
Two men got into an argument while on the dance floor of Jewel, a restaurant at 400 Broadhollow Road, around 11:55 p.m. Jan. 25. One of the men hit the other in the head with a glass, police said. The victim suffered multiple cuts to his face and was treated at Plainview Hospital. The man is wanted for assault.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
