Melville HomeGoods Announces Opening Date

The grand opening of the HomeGoods store in Melville will take place on Sunday, May 6, the home decor retailer announced.

The 21,180 square-foot store, located at 881A Walt Whitman Road, will be the franchise's 70th New York Store.

The Melville store will hire about 65 full and part-time workers who will all be from the local area, HomeGoods says.

"Our high-quality merchandise at incredible prices allows shoppers to express themselves through their décor and create a home that truly reflects who they are for less than they expect," John Ricciuti, President of HomeGoods, said in a press release. "We are thrilled to provide Melville shoppers with this exhilarating shopping experience."
