Queens Man Arrested After Going Wrong Way On LIE: PD
Police said the man was intoxicated at the time.
DIX HILLS, NY — A Queens man was accused of driving the wrong way on the Long Island Expressway Saturday. Suffolk County police pulled over a man driving a 2012 Ford Focus around 4:30 a.m. traveling west in the east HOV lane near Exit 51.
Luis David Romero, 24, of Long Island City, was arrested.
Police charged him with driving while intoxicated.

Romero was scheduled to be arraigned in Central Islip Saturday.
