Uncle Giuseppe's To Open Melville Location In December

Uncle Giuseppe's sixth Long Island location will open in Melville in December.

A ribbon cutting ceremony at the store, located at 890 Walt Whitman Road, will be held on Friday, Dec. 1. A two-day celebration on Dec. 2 and 3 will follow. The event will offer photo opportunities with Santa Claus, face painting, balloon artists and holiday crafts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 53,000-square-foot Melville location will be Uncle Giuseppe's largest store yet, Newsday reports.

In addition to its six Long Island locations, Uncle Giuseppe's is also located in Ramsey, New Jersey.

Uncle Giuseppe's says it "mirrors the way our grandparents used to shop" and is "committed to selling the tastiest food made with traditional Italian recipes and using the highest quality ingredients." The stores offer various sections: deli, butcher, seafood, sushi, bakery, florist produce and more.
