Permits Filed For 8-Story Building In East Harlem
The new building would contain 23 apartments, a community facility and residential space, built on a lot that has been empty since 2004.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A developer filed permits with the city on Monday to construct an eight-story mixed-use building on a vacant lot in East Harlem, records show.
The permits call for 23 new apartments at 20 East 110th St., between Fifth and Madison avenues. In addition to the residential space, it would also contain a 7,300-square-foot community space and roughly 3,00 square feet of commercial space.
The permits were filed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio, a Queens-based firm that has designed other buildings in East Harlem.
