Lanes Reopened After I-684 Crash Backup Stretched 7 Miles: Update
An accident with injuries snarled traffic during the Tuesday AM commute.

UPDATE 9:37 a.m. — New York State police reported all lanes re-opened on southbound I-684. Residual delays still stretched back 2.5 miles, they said.
A traffic accident on I-864 southbound during Tuesday morning rush hour has snarled traffic for miles. New York State police reported the right lane still closed north of the Westchester County Airport.
Delays stretch back seven miles, police said.

According to 511NY, the crash resulted in injuries on I-684 southbound approaching Exit 2 - NY 120. Initially two lanes were blocked.
