Bridgeport Man Accused Of DWI In Harrison

State police said they concluded the driver was intoxicated after stopping him on I-287.

HARRISON, NY — New York State police report charging a Bridgeport, Connecticut man with driving while intoxicated on the Cross Westchester Expressway Feb. 22. Police said they stopped a car at 4:15 a.m. on I-287 for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

When they interviewed the driver, they concluded he was intoxicated, police said.

Paul Thompson, 25, was taken into custody, transported and processed at the station in New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent, police said.

Thompson was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and several Vehicle and Traffic Violations. He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets. He is due in Town of Harrison Court March 10.
