Coronavirus In Westchester: Wegmans Delays Opening
Meanwhile, recruitment and training for Harrison will continue.

HARRISON, NY – Bad news for Wegmans' loyal customers, who have been begging for a downstate store for many years. Officials at Wegmans Food Markets announced Wednesday their decision to postpone the opening date for their store in Westchester County, which had been scheduled for June 7.
“Given these unprecedented times, we feel this is the right thing to do,” said Wegmans Harrison Store Manager Matthew Dailor in a news release. “We are so excited to be part of the Harrison community and can’t wait to start serving our local customers. We’re keeping in touch with our community organizations to partner with them as this situation continues to develop."
