Election 2020: Harrison Voter Guide

Everything you need to know about early voting, mail-in voting and in-person voting in Harrison for the election.

HARRISON, NY — Voters in Harrison will head to the polls by Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the 2020 general election.

In addition to the presidential and congressional races, there are several key races at the state and local level. Voting will be different this year thanks to rules approved to expand early and mail-in voting in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

There are several ways residents can vote:

Mail-In Voting

Vote-by-mail applications must be received by the Westchester County Board of Elections by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

The ballot itself must either be personally delivered to the board of elections no later than the close of polls on Election Day, or postmarked by a governmental postal service not later than the day of the election and received no later than the 7th day after the election. All completed absentee ballots can be dropped off at any of these locations:

  • any early voting poll site from Saturday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 1
  • any Nov. 3 Election Day poll site
  • BOE office at 25 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601

Early Voting

Early voting starts on Oct. 24 and runs until Nov. 1.

  • Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 from noon until 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct.. 25, 2020 from noon until 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct.. 26, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct.. 27, 2020 from noon until 8p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct.. 28, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct.. 29, 2020 from noon until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct.. 30, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct.. 31, 2020 from noon until 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 from noon until 5 p.m.

You can vote at any of the designated early voting sites throughout the county. Nearby early voting sites include:

  • Veterans Memorial Building, 210 Halstead Avenue, Harrison, NY 10528
  • Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601
  • Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543

Voting on Election Day

Polls in New York are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day. There are 20 polling places within the Town/Village of Harrison. Find your polling place using the Westchester Board of Elections search function or the New York State Board of Elections poll site search.
