Great Art, Great Party! ArtJam Features Auction of Famous Works

There's a buzz in the air! For their extraordinary spring event, the Neuberger Museum of Art will present ArtJam 18, on Saturday evening, April 28, an amazing party which will features silent and live auctions of works by some of today’s best-known artists: Janet Biggs, Donna Dennis, Kate Gilmore, Robert Gober, Ignacio Iturria, Tom Otterness, Faith Ringgold, Ursula Von Rydingsvard, Dana Schutz, Kiki Smith, Pat Steir, Barbara Takenaga, Andy Warhol, and Fred Wilson.

“It's an amazing opportunity to buy world-class art by some of the hottest contemporary artists, at special prices," notes Tracy Fitzpatrick, Director of the Neuberger Museum of Art.

ArtJam 18 begins at 6:30 pm with cocktails and a movable feast, followed at 8 pm by the Live Auction. The silent auction will be managed by 501 Auctions, a mobile auction company. There will be music in the galleries, which feature outstanding works from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection, which just returned to the museum following a two-year cross-country tour, as well as two electrifying exhibitions – Stephen Antonakos: Proscenium and Bending Light: Neon Art: 1965 to Now. Co-chairing ArtJam are Debbie Heidecorn (Armonk) and Ava Zukowsky (Pound Ridge). ArtJam 18 is sponsored by Neuberger Berman and John Hardy Jewelry. The event takes place at the Neuberger Museum of Art, located on the Purchase College campus, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, New York.

Funds raised from ArtJam 18 support the exhibitions and education programs of the Museum. Individual tickets are $150. There are ticket packages at various levels, as described on the Museum’s website, including the Modern Patron level at $4,000, Contemporary Patron level at $2,500, and Founder Package at $1000. Festive attire and valet parking.
