HARRISON, NY — The polls have closed and the votes have been tallied. The unofficial results are in. Here's what the voters decided in the 2021 Harrison School District budget election.
The proposed budget of $125,558,025 with a 1.73 percent increase over the 2020-21 spending package was APPROVED.
School officials said the tax levy will now increase by 1.89 percent.

The spending plan calls for maintaining the current class size target of 22 students, the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and the development of summer school programs to address learning gaps.
The school board says it will also use the money to tackle a number of building improvement projects, including parking lot resurfacing and classroom renovations. The district has also outlined plans to expand the use of security cameras on school property.

Two school board seats were on the ballot. The winners are:
- Kelly Kozak
- Dennis Di Lorenzo
Both winning candidates were incumbents who ran unopposed.
