John DeFonce: 20

John DeFonce died sadly on October 11, 2015 at age 20.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1995 to Mark and Phyllis (Artuso) De Fonce. He was a graduate of Harrison High School where he played on the football team.

He is survived by his father Mark Defonce, mother Phyllis and step father Artie Troilo, siblings, A.J. Troilo and Jessica Marinaccio, and step sisters, Valerie and Tiffany Troilo. He is the grandson of Arlene Artuso, Vincent Artuso, Josephine DeFonce and the late Anthony DeFonce. He is also the nephew of, John Artuso, VinniAnn Sarro, Benny DeFonce, Anthony DeFonce and Michelle DeFonce.

John was a gentle soul. He loved his family and all God’s creatures. He had a good heart. He is finally at peace.
