Lane Closures On I-684 Monday-Thursday

Single and double lane closures are expected on Interstate 684 between Exit 1 and Exit 2, northbound on Monday and Tuesday and southbound on Wednesday and Thursday. Crews will be doing maintenance between Route 120 and the Interstate 287/Split to Interstate 684 spur, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Anticipate delays and plan accordingly.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
