Leaf Pickup Ends; Holiday Trash Schedule; Swearing-In Invite
Plus happy holidays from Mayor Ron Belmont

From Mayor Ron Belmont
As the winter season approaches, I would like to clarify that leaf collection is in the final phase. December 20 th reflects the last date in which leaves can be left in piles. Once crews proceed through each neighborhood, any remaining leaves must be placed in brown bags and placed curbside for collection on the second garbage collection day of the week. There will be no further bulk pickups after crews have completed each neighborhood. Our Highway Department has been in the process of doing the final sweep of our municipal roadways this week. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as our highway crews complete their routes.
Members of the Jewish community will soon begin the celebration of Hanukkah. This holiday pays tribute to the resilient spirit of the Jewish people. The message of Hanukkah serves as an example to us all that, when we stand together, we can conquer any problem and overcome any setback.
It is my hope that the Festival of Lights offers comfort to all and encourages not only our nation, but our cities, towns and villages to draw together and celebrate the bonds of community.
