Norwalk Man Faces Felony Charges In Harrison
He was stopped on I-287 early Sunday and a New York state trooper concluded he was drunk.
HARRISON, NY — A Norwalk, Connecticut man faces charges in Harrison after a traffic stop on I-287. Two are felony charges connected to driving while intoxicated.
New York State police said that at 2:07 a.m. Sunday, a trooper stopped a vehicle on I-287 in Harrison for a vehicle and traffic violation.
After an interview, the trooper concluded driver Luis G. Ramirez-Condori was intoxicated. He also discovered the 28-year-old had a suspended license.

Ramirez-Condori was arrested and transported to state police offices in New Rochelle where he refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content in his system.
Police said Ramirez-Condori has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and is required to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock device.

He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, a Class E Felony; Operating a Motor Vehicle with no Ignition Interlock Device, a Class A Misdemeanor; and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Ramirez-Condori was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on June 25.
