Pedestrian Hit By Car On I-287

Police said two of the three lanes had to be closed during the investigation.

HARRISON, NY — State police are investigation an accident on I-287 Friday in the Town of Harrison. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on I-287 westbound at mile marker 7.2, between exits 9 and 9A.

Police said a pedestrian was hit by a car.

The pedestrian was taken to Westchester Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Two of the three westbound lanes had to be blocked while the accident was investigated, but have since been reopened, according to 511ny.org.
