Police: Six Arrested Last Week For Drug Possession

Harrison police made six different arrests last week in connection to drug possession.

Harrison police arrested six individuals last week who they say were in possession of illegal drugs.

Police arrested 18-year-old Michele Forrest on Sept. 12 after allegedly finding marijuana residue and what was believed to be an ecstasy pill in her vehicle following a traffic stop.

At about 11:30 p.m. police stopped Forrest, a Harrison resident, after they say she disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection of Nelson and Bradford Streets. While interviewing Forrest, the responding officer reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. At this time police asked Forrest to step out of the vehicle.

While searching Forrest's vehicle police say they found a partially smoked marijuana cigarette, a glass pipe containing marijuana residue and a clear bag holding what appeared to be an ecstasy pill in her purse.

Police arrested Forrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. She is due in Harrison court on Sept. 28.

On Sept. 12 Harrison police arrested 22-year-old Sheldon Colaco after they say they found 105 grams of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police stopped Colaco,a Harrison resident, while he was driving westbound on Halstead Avenue without wearing a seatbelt. After a routine computer check police noticed a suspended license. Police also reported seeing loose marijuana on the floor behind the driver's seat.

Police later found four bags containing the marijuana and one milliliter of testosterone enanthate (steroids) in the trunk of the car.

Following his arrest Colaco was released on $400 bail with a return court date of Oct. 4.

Harrison police arrested 28-year-old Reggie Jackson on Sept. 13 after they say he was in possession of more than 90 ecstasy pills.

Police reported that Jackson, who lives in New York City, hid a bag underneath his jeans after a vehicle he was in was stopped for a traffic violation. While questioning Jackson he admitted to police that he had one pill of ecstasy hidden in his pants. A search later revealed that Jackson was in possession of 92 ecstasy pills, according to a police report.

The driver of the vehicle said he was unaware of the drugs being in the vehicle and was released from the scene.

Jackson was arrested and transported to police headquarters. A fingerprint rap sheet also revealed an outstanding warrant from New York City. He was later arraigned and remanded to Westchester County Jail.

On Sept. 13 police arrested 19-year-old Marc Pecora after they say he was in possession of marijuana in the Brentwood Pool parking lot.

Police reported seeing Pecora, a Harrison resident, grabbing an unknown item from a vehicle while standing in the parking lot. While interviewing Pecora the responding officer said that he could see marijuana seeds and pieces of a cigar on the floor of the vehicle. Pecora revealed to police the contents of his pocket at the scene, which included a small bag containing what the responding officer believed to be marijuana.

Pecora was placed under arrest and later released and given a court date of Sept. 21.

Police arrested 30-year-old Brian Worrell on Sept. 6 after they say he was in possession of marijuana. 

Worrell was stopped at a traffic safety checkpoint at about 12:15 a.m. when the responding officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana during an interview. While searching the vehicle police found three empty bags containing what they believed to be marijuana residue. Worrell was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and is due in court on Sept. 21.

On Sept. 6, police arrested 22-year-old Supreme Harmon after they say he was in possession of marijuana.

Police detected a strong smell of marijuana while interviewing a driver at a DWI checkpoint at the intersection of Westchester and White Plains Avenues. Harmon, a passenger in the vehicle, was in possession of two bags of marijuana, according to police.

Harmon was placed under arrest for unlawful possession of marijuana and is due on court on Oct. 5.
