Positive Coronavirus Test At REACH Academy In Harrison

The school just re-opened for a summer session under state pandemic guidelines.

HARRISON, NY — The REACH Academy in Harrison is working with the Westchester County Health Department on contact tracing after someone tested positive for the new coronavirus at the school, which just re-opened for a summer session, The Journal News reported.

School officials learned of the case Wednesday. The building at 45 Gainsborg Ave. is closed for cleaning, TJN reported.

It is part of the Greenburgh-North Castle school district, which provides special education instruction and holds an Extended School Year program, which this year is run under the state's pandemic protocols.
