Purchase College Has Study Breaks Covered In A Few Creative Ways
Virtual farm visits, online coloring and live-streamed yoga are just a few activities the school is suggesting for R and R while cramming.

PURCHASE, NY — A musical interlude, a panda cam or quick cyber-visit to the British Museum - the Purchase College Library has students in need of a study break covered.
Research shows that taking scheduled breaks can actually make time spent studying for a test more efficient. As students at the SUNY Purchase campus prepare for finals, the school's library has pulled together dozens of inventive ways to get away from it all without getting too far away from hitting the books.
Students in need of a distraction can spend a few moments peering at the panda cam with a live feed from the Atlanta Zoo or work an online jigsaw puzzle. Those looking to make the most of their time away from the desk can take a free, virtual ballet lesson or take in a recorded concert at the Metropolitan Opera House.
