Roadwork Aug. 1-4 on I-684 in Harrison, North Castle

Roadwork will close the right and center southbound lanes on Interstate 684 between Exit 2 (NY Route 120) and Exit 1 (Entrance from I-287), Tuesday through Thursday. That's the day after work closes down the northbound lanes.

Beginning at 1 p.m. Aug. 1 the northbound left and center lanes will be closed. All lanes will reopen at 3:30 p.m.

Then for the next three days, southbound right and center lanes will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

All this is so crews can perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
