Wake Up with Patch This Weekend: Art Gallery and a Pizza Debate

A look at five things you need to know before starting your weekend.

1. Art exhibit at l.m.k middle school tonight

The Harrison High School Art Department will host its this evening at L.M.K. Middle School. The 90-minute event starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the community.

The showing includes paintings, sketches, photography and ceramics by students from both the high school and middle school and will also include live music.

2. Where's your favorite pizza place?

Yesterday in our new Bites Nearby column we selected Pizza 2000 as our spotlight restaurant of the week. Several readers, however, say they prefer Sofia's on Harrison Avenue.

3. good luck to the girls varsity cheerleading team

The Harrison varsity cheerleading team is on Saturday afternoon, as the squad look to advance to nationals for the first time.  

We will have results early next week, when the team returns. Go Huskies!
