Westchester Business and Professional Group Honors Local Leaders

UJA-Federation of New York pays tribute to Robert Glazer of Millwood and Ed Stoppelmann of New York City for leadership and commitment

Nearly 250 guests came to the UJA-Federation of New York's Westchester Business and Professional (B&P) Divisions 2019 Annual Luncheon to honor Millwood resident Robert Glazer, CEO, ENT and Allergy Associates, and New York City (formerly of Scarsdale) resident Ed Stoppelmann, President, Red Oak Transportation on Thursday, May 16th, at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, New York. Award winning journalist Rebecca Solomon of News 12 Westchester was the emcee of the event.

The theme of this year's luncheon was "Game Changers" and paid tribute to Glazer and Stoppelmann for their outstanding professional and philanthropic achievements. Both honorees are game changers in their respective industries – Glazer in healthcare and Stoppelmann in transportation. "Our B&P Division is made up of professional people like Bob and Ed who are deeply committed to helping sustain UJA-Federation's network of hundreds of nonprofits," said Chappaqua resident Stacey Cohen of Co-Communications who chaired the event with Mt. Kisco resident Jamie Schwartz of GHP Office Realty, LLC. "This network is vital to reaching those who most need support— people dealing with food insecurity, disabilities, depression, aging, housing issues, and other crises. People rebuilding their lives. That is why the theme "game changers" is so fitting for both UJA's work and our outstanding honorees," she added.

As CEO of ENT and Allergy Associates, Glazer is responsible for overall operations, focusing on physician recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning for ENTA's 42 locations and 200+ physicians in the NY/NJ metro region. Outside of ENT, Bob has served as president of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators (AOA) Leadership Council, and has participated on ad-hoc committees of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). He is a board member of the Westchester County Association, a Fortune 500 business think tank and also serves as a member of the NYS Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District
