Yto Barrada Receives Neuberger Prize

Yto Barrada was awarded the 2019 Roy R. Neuberger Prize (international) at an award presentation and reception Saturday evening.

Over 100 people attended the opening of Yto Barrada: The Dye Garden at the Neuberger Museum of Art on September 21. Ms. Barrada won the 2019 Roy R. Neuberger Prize which was presented by curator Helaine Posner and Museum director Tracy Fitzpatrick. Also attending were the Consul General of Morocco, the Communications Director of the American Academy of Rome where The Dye Garden first opened, and Engels the Artist, whose 10-year survey opens at the museum on October 9.
