What time does the festival start and end?

This year's celebration will kick of with a performance from Eddie “The Sheik” Koshak and the Amber-Aba Orchestra at noon and will continue until 6 p.m., rain or shine, according to festival organizers.

What is the route for this year's parade and will there be street closures?

Atlantic Antic will be held on Atlantic Avenue (I know, you’re shocked) between Hicks and Fourth avenues.

Atlantic Avenue will be closed to traffic along the street fair route, which means cars won’t be able to access to the one way blocks that intersect with the avenue.

What's the easiest way to get to Atlantic Antic?

Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center is the closest subway station on the street fair’s eastern end, so which means a 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q or R train will get you where you need to go.

The Jay Street-MetroTech station is also within walking distance of Atlantic Avenue, so you can also take the A, C or F train.

What’s There To Do?

More than 500 vendors, 100 local merchants will be offering up their goods, Brooklyn organizations — such as Brooklyn Boulders and the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music — will give presentations and performances on one of 12 entertainment stages. Activities for kids include pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, book readings, and face painters. And Atlantic Antic attendees will also be able to snag discounts from local vendors.

Also, for the first time this year, there will be an epic dumpling eating contest with a $2,000 prize.
