Body Found In East River Near Dumbo Waterfront, Police Say
Police found the body of an unidentified man in his 30s floating near John and Adams streets.
DUMBO, BROOKLYN — Police are investigating the death of a man they found floating in the East River over the weekend.
Just after 8 a.m. on Sunday NYPD were called to the corner of Adams and John streets on the Dumbo waterfront for reports that there was a body in the water there. When officers arrived, they found a man's body floating in the water, police said.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. He appeared to be in his 30s and had no obvious signs of trauma, police said.

Police have not yet released the name of the man and said the investigation is ongoing.
