Brooklyn Americana Music Festival Returns To Dumbo And Red Hook

The four-day music fest boasts fifty free shows along Brooklyn's waterfront.

DUMBO, BROOKLYN — An extensive lineup of performers will serenade Brooklynites with country music twangs this week at the Brooklyn Americana Music Festival.

Brooklyn may not be known for its country scene, but it has a thriving Americana community centered around bars and clubs peppered across the borough including at Sunny's Bar in Red Hook and The Jalopy Theater in Carroll Gardens

On Sept. 20-23, musicians will flock to Brooklyn's waterfront from across the five boroughs and the country for a four-day fest of fifty free performances at nine locations.

The extravaganza includes concerts at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Women's Archway Stage and the Powerhouse Area in Dumbo, along with a handful of shows scattered across Red Hook.
