Brooklyn Cop Sexually Propositioned Child, Officials Say
A cop charged in Brooklyn for making sexual advances to a 10-year-old was released without bail Thursday, officials and reports said.

DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn cop who was arrested for making sexual advances to a 10-year-old girl was released without bail Thursday, according to authorities and reports.
Shaun Frazier, 39, was charged around 7 a.m. with "acting in a manner injurious to a child" in the 84th Precinct, which covers Brooklyn Heights, Vinegar Hill and Boerum Hill.
A law enforcement official said that Frazier had made a sexual proposition to the girl, who police told the Daily News was the daughter of a woman he knew.

Prosecutors requested that Frazier's bail be set at $10,000 during a court appearance on Thursday afternoon, but the judge instead released the cop on his own recognizance, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney's office.
Frazier had been investigated by the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau, a police spokesperson said.

He joined the NYPD in 2015 and had been assigned to the Building Maintenance Section when he was arrested, police told the News. He is suspended from the force pending the outcome of the case.
