Brooklyn Events Happening This Weekend: Oct. 7-8
Here's Patch's guide to the random events in Brooklyn this weekend. Run with midwives. Play with yarn. Race across the Gowanus Canal.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — This weekend there are a slew of weird things to do in Brooklyn. Want to race a canoe across the Gowanus? Go for it. Need to drink a lot of German beer under a bridge in the afternoon? We all do. Gonna tell the world about your deep-rooted love of yarn? There’s a place you can go.
It’s all here in Brooklyn, and it’s happening this weekend.
