DUMBO, BROOKLYN — An enormous, outdoor rock-climbing gym opening along the Brooklyn waterfront exactly one week from now, on April 16, will be situated quite directly Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.

And at 7,800 square feet, the new DUMBO Boulders gym, a public-private partnership between Brooklyn Bridge Park and The Cliffs, "will be the largest outdoor bouldering gym in all of North America, and will be able to fit 250 climbers at any given time," according to Time Out New York.

The Cliffs Routesetting is getting down to business throwing up problems for our opening weekend! Stay warm guys!

Admission to the gym on Friday, April 16 — aka opening day — will reportedly be free to the public. After that, day passes will cost $9.
