DUMBO, BROOKLYN — An 18-year-old Israeli tourist named Shivel Dikstein was charged with criminal trespassing after he climbed the Brooklyn Bridge to take a selfie, cops said. Dikstein was arrested at 7 p.m. on Thursday after allegedly jumping a fence on the Brooklyn side of the bridge, according to witnesses.
"He jumped up to get a selfie with the skyline behind him," a witness told the New York Post.
Dikstein's arrest comes just days after seven kids plunged through ice in Central Park while taking a selfie.
