BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — The Jehova's Witnesses are continuing their liquidation of prime Brooklyn Heights property.
In their third fire sale in a matter of months, the group's massive, 16-story residential building at 21 Clark St. has hit the market for a yet-to-be-revealed price, as reported by DNAinfo.
The building was originally constructed for $4 million in 1924 as the Leverich Towers Hotel, according to Brooklyn Heights Blog. Over the years, its occupants have included the Brooklyn Dodgers and a Yiddish radio station, the local news site reports.

The Jehova's Witnesses took over the 295-unit structure in 1975, according to the property's real-estate website, and have since added "a rooftop terrace and lounge, a commercial kitchen, dining rooms, medical offices and a clinic."
The religious group is in the process of relocating its world headquarters to Warwick, New York, and is thus selling off a host of Brooklyn Heights properties in anticipation.
