M. Night Shyamalan To Visit Brooklyn Theater For Movie Premiere
The director will answer questions at the Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn after the theater chain's exclusive screening of his latest movie GLASS.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN — Alamo Drafthouse will celebrate M. Night Shyamalan's latest trilogy with a movie marathon at its theaters across the country this weekend, but with a special treat for audiences in the chain's Brooklyn location — the writer and director himself.
"The Sixth Sense" director will join in on an "M. Night Shyamalanathon" at the Albee Square outpost for an early premiere of his new movie GLASS, the third installment in what fans have named the Eastrail 177 Trilogy.
The theater chain will show back-to-back screenings of UNBREAKABLE, SPLIT and GLASS on Jan. 12, a week before it is released in theaters, followed by a live conversation with Shyamalan about the movies.

"GLASS, a Blinding Edge Pictures/Blumhouse Production of an M. Night Shyamalan film from Universal Pictures, weaves together the unforgettable narratives of UNBREAKABLE and SPLIT into an explosive, all-new comic-book thriller," the theater said in the announcement.
GLASS is the third movie in a trilogy that began with Shyamalan's thriller UNBREAKABLE, which was released in 2000. In 2016, the writer and director surprised fans by revealing that the seemingly standalone film SPLIT was actually the second chapter to a trilogy.

The third movie will follow the first movie's reluctant hero David Dunn (Bruce Willis) as he pursues Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast, continuing the trilogy's theme of exploring what it would be like if superheroes and supervillains walked among us.
It also brings back Mr. Glass, played by Samuel L. Jackson, and includes Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellie Staple.
Brooklyn audiences can get their free tickets to the marathon with the purchase of a $10 food and drink voucher here. Tickets are also on sale right now for GLASS showings after the Jan. 18 opening.
