Teen Gets Slashed In The Neck In Downtown Brooklyn, Cops Say

DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A teenager was slashed in the neck near MetroTech station on Monday morning, police said.

The 15-year-old was sent to Brooklyn Hospital after getting slashed in the left side of his neck and on his right arm after a fight near 3 MetroTech Center, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Emergency responders who heard there was a major injury near the building had rushed to 3 MetroTech Center just before 9 a.m., an FDNY spokesperson said.

Police said the teen is likely to survive his injuries. They were still waiting for a description of who assaulted him around 10 a.m. and had not made any arrests, the NYPD spokesperson said.
