Matt Damon Buying Penthouse In Superman's Brooklyn Digs: Report
Matt Damon might grab the penthouse at the Standish for a whopping $16 million, according to reports.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — Matt Damon is in contract to buy a penthouse in the same building that was the fictional home of Superman's alter ego Clark Kent, according to reports.
The Hollywood star is contract to buy a $16,645,000 condo at the Standish at 171 Columbia Heights, according to the Wall Street Journal (article protected by paywall).
The century-old beaux arts building was once home to the famous Standish Arms hotel. The Standish, designed by F. S. Lowe in 1903, was remodeled as an apartment building by developers DDG and real estate firm Westbrook Partners.
Should Damon agree to pay the asking price, the sale will set the record for the most expensive residential sale in Brooklyn, the Real Deal reported.
