Nine-Story Office Building Set For Brooklyn Navy Yard Project
Steiner NYC filed plans for a nine-story office building with parking to be added to their redevelopment of the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — The redevelopment of the Brooklyn Navy Yard got a little bigger after plans were filed to add a nine-story office building with a parking lot, New York YIMBY first reported. The filings call to have "light industrial" use in sections of the building along with offices.
Steiner NYC LLC, which has been working on redeveloping the crumbling Admiral's Row buildings in the Navy Yard, filed plans on Wednesday to add a new office building at 399 Sands St. at the site, Department of Buildings records show.
The new building will add another 421,031 square-feet of space to the nearly 15-acre development, according to the filings.

The spot will have space for 430 parking spots on the first four-floors,"light industrial" on the next four and office spaces on the top floor, according to the filings and Curbed.
The building will take over space currently used as a parking lot and add to the Admiral's Row redevelopment plans which is set to become a "suburban shopping center" with the ciy's first Wegmans supermarket inside, according to Curbed.
