Construction Worker Dies From Fall Off Brooklyn High-Rise: FDNY
One person is dead after they fell from a 13-story building on Pierrepont Street apartment Wednesday, said the FDNY.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A construction worker died Wednesday morning after falling from a 13-story luxury high rise in Brooklyn Heights, officials said.
Medics rushed to 1 Pierrepont St. and found the person lying on the concrete just after 10 a.m., FDNY officials said. Police told the Department of Buildings that the person was a construction worker at the residential building, records show.
A complaint was filed for the site conditions at the building endangering workers after the incident, records show.

The person, whose gender was not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene, said the FDNY.

The Pierrepont apartment building was named among the borough's most expensive residences in a Curbed round-up, which noted a five-bedroom co-op sold for $7.4 million in 2016.
The FDNY spokesman did know from which story the person fell.
