19-Year-Old Shot Twice At Brooklyn Farragut Houses, FDNY Says
Police are still looking for the person who shot a man Thursday morning at the housing complex on Nassau Street, FDNY said.

DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A 19-year-old was sent to the hospital after a daylight shooting at a Downtown Brooklyn NYCHA complex on Thursday, officials said.
Emergency responders rushed to 237 Nassau St. just before 10 a.m. to find that the man had been shot twice, once in his right hand and again in his right ankle. He was sent to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is in stable condition, FDNY and NYPD officials said.
The shooter ran away before authorities got to the housing complex and police are still looking for him, an NYPD spokesman said. There have been no arrests.

Both NYPD and FDNY did not immediately have details about whether the shooting happened in the building or on the street.
237 Nassau St. is one of the buildings that makes up the New York City Housing Authority's David Glasgow Farragut complex.
