Apply To Rent A Dumbo Studio For $895 Per Month

DUMBO, BROOKLYN — The lottery has begun for affordable housing units in 181 Front St. in Dumbo, a luxury building with a gym, playroom, 24-hour doorman, rooftop deck and underground parking, among other amenities.

There are 21 units available — nine 1-bedrooms, 11 2-bedrooms and one 3-bedroom. A 1-bed rents for $895 per month, a 2-bed rents for $1,082 per month and a 3-bed rents for $1,247 per month.

The 12-story, 105-apartment building used to be a warehouse sold by the Jehovah's Witnesses to Megalith Capital Management and Urban Realty Partners, the current developers.

The deadline to apply is May 1. Five percent of the units go to applicants with a mobility disability, and two percent go to applicants with a vision or hearing disability.
