DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — Ever wonder how the city's biggest rooftop pools get hoisted up onto their high-rises? Brooklyn Point, the borough's tallest building, showed how its done in a video of its infinity pool getting hauled up all 68 stories.

The pool became the highest residential infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere now that it sits on top of the 720-foot tower. It is one of the finishing touches being added to Brooklyn Point, which topped out at 138 Willoughby Street earlier this year.

The development will offer 458 luxury condo units as early as 2020.

It might not stay as the highest residential infinity pool for long, though. If one of the taller buildings in the works in the borough decide to put an infinity pool on their rooftops they could have Brooklyn Point beat for both of its records.

At least two taller buildings just a few blocks away, one at 80 Flatbush Avenue and another at 625 Fulton Street, are in the works. Those buildings would be 820 feet and 942 feet tall, respectively.

Brooklyn Point offers a mix of studio to three-bedroom homes that include access to more than 40,000 square feet of amenities.

The rooftop also has a landscaped sundeck, outdoor dining areas, changing rooms, showers and an outdoor movie screening space.

Inside, there is a "comprehensive health and wellness facility" that includes a 65-foot indoor saltwater pool, a 35-foot rock climbing wall, a squash and basketball court and yoga, Pilates and cycling studios. A spa includes an infrared sauna, steam rooms and a hot tub.

Prices for the luxury condos start at $850,000.
