Downtown Brooklyn Sidewalk Reconstruction to Last 1 Month
Sidewalk reconstruction resumed this week on Adams Street between Tillary and Sands Streets.
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Work operations for phase one of the Tillary St. area reconstruction project (PDF) resumed this week on Adams Street between Tillary and Sands Streets in Downtown Brooklyn.
Reconstruction and installation of sidewalks in the area by the NYC Dept. of Design and Construction resumed on Tuesday, Oct. 11, and will take approximately one month to complete.
According to the notice released by NYCDDC:

- “No Standing” restrictions will be in effect and “No Standing, Temporary Construction” signs will be posted throughout the affected area
- Vehicles parked in “no standing” zones, will be towed by the contractor. Contact the 84th Precinct for the towing list
- Emergency vehicle access and pedestrian access to sidewalk and entry ways will be maintained at all times.
- Certain operations may be noisy; the DDC will monitor operations and work within the Dept. of Environmental Protection noise code regulations.
- Gas, electric, telephone, and cable services will not be interrupted.
