Sights in the Aftermath of Winter Storm Gail

Some pictures from around a snow-covered Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill.

I went for a walk around Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill shortly after the snow from Winter Storm Gail subsided. Early on my walk, I came across a snowman built on a planter just off the corner of Clark and Henry Street. Unable to let an opportunity pass me by, I took a picture of the charming snowman for my website.

I wrote there: "Planting a snowman in a planter was quite clever. The carrot nose serves as a nice finishing touch on the ensemble."

For more of my thoughts on the weather and some pictures from neighboring Cobble Hill, you can read my full article at The New Leaf Journal.
