BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — You know what beats getting stuck on a subway car for hours, or for that matter, sweating it out on a crowded train platform? Apparently, a free ride across the East River on a beer company's vintage boat.

Stella Artois has announced that it will give a select few Brooklyn commuters a free ride to Manhattan aboard a fleet of fancy, wood-trimmed boats next week. The ride along the "East River Riviera" will bring passengers from the ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina and drop them off at Pier 25 in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, or vice versa.

"The vintage Riva boats will cruise daily along the cool and crisp breeze of the East River Riviera – just like they’re coasting along the French Riviera," the company said.

The vintage "Riva boats" are all classic, collector-owned vessels. They are set to sail each day starting July 30 through August 2 and are free.

The boats will only be available to a few lucky commuters, though.

New Yorkers interested in taking the boats will need to reserve a spot on Stella Artois' website, which opened up sign-ups on Monday.

"Trust us, this will be the best Instagram you take all summer," Stella Artois said. "Just watch the hate-likes roll in."
