Sweetgreen Salad Shop Coming To Downtown Brooklyn

The chain's fourth Brooklyn location will open at 125 Court St. later this year.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — Downtown Brooklyn is about to get a little leafier. Nationwide salad shop chain Sweetgreen is slated to open another Brooklyn location on Court Street at the end of the year.

The company known for its fresh salads and grain bowls has signed a lease for a retail space in Two Trees Management's building at 125 Court St., the real estate company said.

The 3,200-square-foot store, Sweetgreen's fourth in Brooklyn, is expected to open in December, according to Two Trees. Sweetgreen has more than 20 existing shops in New York City, including locations in Williamsburg and DUMBO.

Sweetgreen will be neighbors to other retailers such as LensCrafters in the 11-story rental building between Atlantic Avenue and State Street, Two Trees said.

Correction: A reference to a Red Mango shop located at 125 Court St. was deleted from this story because the store has been vacated, according to Two Trees management. The company initially said Sweetgreen would join Red Mango in the building.
