These Are Brooklyn's 21 Best Neighborhoods, According to a New Report

Niche.com has ranked Brooklyn's hoods based on "crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities."

BROOKLYN, NY — Here to address those creeping midnight fears that your idyllic Brooklyn neighborhood might be scientifically less idyllic than the next neighborhood over: Niche.com's annual "Best Places to Live in America" report for 2016!

If you're not aware, Niche.com is one of those prolific ranking websites that mashes together a bunch of data from cops, schools, brokers, etc., to draw up (allegedly) definitive rankings of America's most live-able communities and most prestigious schools.

And for this year's Best Places to Live in America report, in particular, Niche researchers say they analyzed data from the "U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources" to get an idea of crime levels, school quality, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities in each of America's communities.
