
The New York Lottery says a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million from the Tuesday, Aug. 1 drawing was sold in Hicksville. The second-prize winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 10 Stewart Ave.
Another winning ticket worth $1 million was also sold at Sweet 14 Candy & Grocery, located at 402 E 14th St. in Manhattan.
The winning numbers were: 20 – 22 – 52 – 57 – 73 and Mega Ball 07. The winning tickets worth $1 million matched the first five numbers in the drawing.

Winning numbers are drawn from a field of one to 75, and the Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 15. Drawings are televised every Tuesday and Friday around 11 p.m. on select New York Lottery draw stations.
There was no jackpot-winning ticket sold for Tuesday night's drawing, so the estimated jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing has increased to $323,000,000 (with a cash option of $199,000,000).

The Mega Millions winner can claim their prize up to one year from the date of the drawing.
