Crash Sends SUV Into Bushes Near Nassau Home; 2 Hospitalized
A two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon sent an SUV hurtling into the bushes in front of a home. Two people were hospitalized, officials say.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two people were hospitalized following a two-car crash that sent an SUV into shrubs in front of a Hicksville home.
The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department was called to the crash around 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Miller Road and Shari Court. The crash sent the SUV off the roadway and into some shrubs on the front lawn of a Miller Road home, officials said.
Two people were taken to a hospital. A third person who was not involved in the crash had trouble breathing and received oxygen from Hicksville EMScrews, but refused other medical attention. Chief Gary Lewis was in command of the operation.
