Hicksville 2-Car Crash Leaves 2 Hurt; Major Delays

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two people were hurt in a two-car crash in Hicksville that sent a car into a fence. The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on South Broadway and 4th Street, officials said.

The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the scene and found one car crashed into a fence at Delco Plaza. Hicksville fire police units applied speedy dry to fluid spills on the roadway and the northbound lanes of South Broadway were closed while crews worked the scene, causing major delays for commuters.
