Kitchen Counter, Cabinet Maker To Open Warehouse In Hicksville

HICKSVILLE, NY — A kitchen cabinet and counter maker in Brooklyn is opening a warehouse in Hicksville, the company confirmed to Patch.

Wise Cabinet Countertop bought an $8.4 million industrial building at 96 New South Road, Long Island Business News reported. The building is about 70,000 square feet and sits on nearly 4 acres of property.

A woman who answered the phone for the company said the new warehouse is expected to open either this month or early next month. She didn't immediately know whether the company would be hiring at the warehouse.

Wise Cabinet Countertop is a family-run business that was founded in 2014, according to its website. The business focuses on wholesale in the New York City metro and tri-state area.

Wise makes quartz, marble and granite countertops as well as modern cabinets with acrylic panels and plywood boxes.
