LI Restaurant Offers Dining With The Easter Bunny
"Army of Easter Bunnies" is ready to deliver baskets to homes on Easter Morning, according to the historic Milleridge Inn's proprietors.
JERICHO, NY — It’s like the fantasy of a child — a real one or an eternal one — as a Long Island restaurant is offering sit down meal options and home deliveries with The Easter Bunny this year.
The historic Milleridge Inn in Jericho is offering breakfast with The Easter Bunny, as well as a brunch/dinner buffet and a traditional sit-down Easter dinner, according to a news release. Youngsters at the breakfast will be able to visit with The Easter Bunny, who will be behind plexiglass in a “bunny lair,” and take photos afterward, the news release stated.

Brunch and dinner will feature a visit from The Easter Bunny who will be bringing Easter eggs filled with candy.
All meals will adhere to COVID-19 restrictions, including social distancing, sanitary protocols and masks will be required.

For those who do not feel comfortable celebrating away from home, the inn has an “army of Easter Bunnies” is ready to be deployed Easter Morning for home basket deliveries that will run about $90 and are $20 for each additional one.
Breakfast with The Easter Bunny will start Saturday and will continue on Sunday, and next Saturday, April 3, with seating taking place every half hour between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. It is a prixe-fixe affair starting at $49 for adults and $29 for children between the ages of 2 and 12, with children under two eating for free.
The family-friendly Easter buffet brunch and dinner, which starts with seating starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April4, will offer a host of traditional main course offerings, as well as other Easter meal side dishes and desserts. Meals will run $57.95 for adults and $29.95 for children between the ages of 2 and 12.

The Inn’s proprietors came up with the idea as a safe solution to celebrating the holiday, which is normally filled with egg hunts, car shows, religious services, and other activities where large crowds are expected though now preempted due to COVID-19 restrictions, according to the inn’s proprietors.
The inn “is doing its part to restore some joy to the beloved holiday with a host of fun-filled and taste-tempting events that will delight the entire family,” the proprietors stated in a new release. “Breakfast with The Easter Bunny, a traditional sit-down Easter dinner and a festive brunch/dinner buffet are restoring a sense of normalcy to Easter for the whole family, and young people will be filled with glee as they visit The Easter Bunny.”
“What’s more, Easter Bunny home visits are delighting young people and families who prefer to stay at home during the Easter season,” the news release continued. “Finally, all of the dinners will feature a special visit from The Easter Bunny, replete with Easter eggs for youngsters.”
