Local Hicksville Allstate Agents Raise Grant For Nonprofit

The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to cure and care for blood cancer patients

SAINT JAMES, N.Y., March 1, 2018 – Twelve Allstate agency owners, financial specialists, and licensed sales professionals from St. James recently came together to secure $12,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The grant will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure and care for patients who have leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.

The agency owners, financial specialists, and licensed sales professionals earned $1,000 each for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by hosting a raffle and auction event for the families affected by this disease. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will use the $12,000 grant to further its work.

The participants are among thousands of agency owners, financial specialists, and licensed sales professionals around the country working to improve communities by volunteering for the causes they care about most.
